Our Team
Our team consists of forensic psychologists, clinical psychologists, clinical neuropsychologists, and psychologists with dual qualifications in forensic psychology and clinical neuropsychology. All of our psychologists are registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and most of our psychologists also hold endorsement in forensic psychology, clinical psychology, clinical neuropsychology, or a combination of these. We have consultants in Melbourne, Sydney, and Adelaide and we travel to other areas of Australia by appointment. We also conduct assessments via tele-conferencing. Our psychologists bring a wealth of professional, cultural, and experiential diversity to our group, which allows us to match our psychologists to the clinical, cultural, and specific case needs of your client and your referral.

Forensic Psychologist and Clinical Neuropsychologist
Dr Ashkar holds Masters Degrees in Forensic Psychology (UNSW) and Clinical Neuropsychology (MQ), and a PhD in Forensic Psychology (USyd). He is endorsed as a Forensic Psychologist, Clinical Neuropsychologist, and Supervising Psychologist with AHPRA. He is a member of the Australian Psychological Society, a Fellow of the College of Forensic Psychologists, and a Fellow of the College of Clinical Neuropsychologists. He has been practising as a psychologist since 2002.

Dr Wearne holds a Masters Degree in Clinical Neuropsychology (MQ) and a PhD in Clinical Neuropsychology (MQ). He is endorsed as a Clinical Neuropsychologist and Supervising Psychologist with AHPRA. He is a member of the Australian Psychological Society and a Fellow of the College of Clinical Neuropsychologists. He has been practising as a psychologist since 2015. He is the Director of the Master of Clinical Neuropsychology Program at Macquarie University.

She is endorsed as a Clinical Neuropsychologist and Supervising Psychologist with AHPRA. She has been practising as a psychologist since 2019. Sarah’s expertise lies in neurological disorders, including epilepsy, encephalitides, and autoimmune conditions, with a professional interest in how cognitive profiles inform the understanding of offending behaviour.

She is a member of Australian Clinical Neuropsychology Association and a Committee Member of the Victorian Branch of the Australian and New Zealand Association of Psychiatry, Psychology, and Law.
